The American Association of Women Dentists at UB strives to be the recognized resource for connecting and enriching the lives of women dentists. Our local Buffalo chapter is recognized under the national AAWD organization. We donate our time and fundraising efforts to provide dental education to women's shelters in the local community. We also spread awareness throughout the UB SDM community on issues that may arise in the dental field as a female practitioner and in dealing with female patients in difficult circumstances...
