MISSION:

The American Student Dental Association is a national student-run organization which protects and advances the rights, interests and welfare of students pursuing careers in dentistry. It represents students with a unified voice and provides information, education, advocacy and services. The association introduces lifelong involvement in organized dentistry, and promotes change for the betterment of the profession.

VISION:

ASDA Buffalo's goal is to make the dental school experience the best it can be for our students. We strive to maximize student value, engagement, and well-being. Whether students are staying healthy participating in our wellness workouts, advocating for patient and provider rights in Albany or Washington D.C., learning how to be more eco friendly dentists, or volunteering with BOCA, they are constantly making the most of their dental school experience. Our chapter has something to offer for every type of student, from academic and professional development to social events and networking -much of this would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of our fundraising and lunch and learn teams.

ASDABUFFALO:

ASDA Buffalo is the Buffalo Chapter of the American Student Dental Association, as well as the Dental Student Association for the University at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine. We serve not only as an ASDA chapter, but also as the student government for the dental school at Buffalo.  At Buffalo, all of our students are auto-enrolled in ASDA, and are ASDA members as well as ADA Student members.
